Let's make a difference in Oregon
Paul Diller for State Senator
Paul sees the difficulties faced by many of his neighbors who fight worsening traffic to get to their jobs. He sees the ever-rising housing costs squeezing hard-working families. Paul wants to help fix these problems by investing in better roads and public transit, and giving local jurisdictions the tools they need to allow developers to build an adequate mix of housing for seniors, families, and those just starting out on their own.
Paul is also running because of the national political environment. In Washington, D.C., we have a government that is overtly hostile to Oregon’s interests. By working together in our state legislature Oregon can resist the harmful policies that we see coming from the Trump White House and its allies in Congress.
Paul is honored to live in a state where we make it easier rather than harder for people to vote. He will support those laws – such as vote-by-mail and auto-registration – that make our state a beacon of democracy within the United States, with one of the highest turnout rates in elections.
Finally, Paul is running because after the Parkland, Fla., school shooting – and so many others – we need legislators representing us who will stand up for common-sense, reasonable gun safety legislation.
